To ensure that the joy of playing isn’t dampened by an ill-fitting instrument, we stock children’s violins in all standard sizes whenever possible: 1/16, 1/8, ¼, ½, ¾, 4/4. And because children grow quickly and eventually need a larger violin, we offer rental instruments that can be exchanged as needed.
Bows & Accessories
As second-generation master violin makers, we focus on what we do best: crafting stringed instruments using traditional craftsmanship. But you can’t play a violin on its own.
That’s why, at our workshop in Munich, we also sell all the accessories you need for your violin, viola, cello, or double bass—everything except sheet music.
Bows: e.g., standard bows made of brazilwood, higher-quality bows made of pernambuco, carbon fiber bows, silver bows, gold bows, and more.
Only a bow that suits your playing style and your instrument will bring you joy and allow you to fully enjoy the sound: Take advantage of the tranquility and atmosphere of our music room to try out different bows before making a decision.
Storage and Transport: e.g., cases with backpack straps, cases with wheels, ultralight carbon fiber cases—especially for cellos, double cases for two instruments, double bass cases, bow cases, fabric covers for cases, and lined and unlined covers.
For storing valuable antique instruments, we offer something special that you’ll rarely find elsewhere: antique wooden violin cases, professionally restored on the outside and refitted on the inside to meet modern standards.
We also carry pegs of various qualities, patent pegs, cello spikes, adjustable bridges in various quality grades, tailpieces, strings, rosin, music stands, shoulder rests, metronomes, chin rests, various types of floor protectors, and much more.
